Hi there. I’m Austine. I started Jerk Station in Chelmsford driven by my passion for Caribbean and African food. I strongly believe that great food should be simple, freshly cooked, and using the best quality ingredients available.

I’d like to take you with me on my journey exploring, eating and enjoying the amazing food that the countries and territories of the Caribbean and Africa have to offer.

I am also very lucky to have staff who have the same passion to bring you the flavours and variety of the food that Jerk Station can cook for you.

Caribbean cuisine - Jamaica and the Caribbeans at large is arguably home of the much talked about fusion cuisine. Jamaican food combines a variety of techniques, styles, traditions and ingredients from various backgrounds to produce the flavourful, colourful lip-smacking dishes that you so love! It is a blend of great food from different parts of the world, reflecting the influences of people from those regions, and bringing together our one love of tasty delicious food.
